Our verdict

If you sell online and have order history, Klaviyo reads it better than anything else in this price band. Predicted lifetime value, predicted next order date and product recommendations are useful rather than decorative. Outside ecommerce the advantage mostly disappears, because the predictions have nothing to predict from.

Overall, the plain average7.1

Every criterion is defined on the methodology page.

What it does well

  • Predictive analytics that use purchase data properly
  • Deep native integrations with the major store platforms
  • Charges on active profiles, so suppressed contacts stop costing money
  • Flow library gets a new store sending within a day

Where it costs you

  • Price climbs steeply with profile count
  • SMS credits are billed on top of the subscription
  • Little value if you are not selling products online
  • Steeper learning curve than Omnisend or Brevo

What it costs

Free to 250 active profiles with 500 email sends a month. The Email plan runs about $20/mo at 500 profiles, $30 at 1,000, $100 at 5,000 and $400 at 25,000. Email plus SMS starts at $35/mo for 251 to 500 profiles and meters SMS separately, around a cent per US message.

Compare this against the other nine

Pick it if

A store with real order volume and a list old enough to have a dormant tail, since active-profile billing excludes suppressed contacts and rewards list hygiene.

Skip it if

B2B teams and anyone without a storefront. You would be paying a premium for machinery you cannot feed.

Look at these too

  • ChattyPage , small teams with no designer, scores 8.4
  • Brevo , big lists, low send volume, scores 6.9
  • ActiveCampaign , complex branching journeys, scores 6.8
